Advanced Conversion (a wholly owned subsidiary of ETI of Clearwater, Florida) is excited to announce our licensing agreement with W. L. Gore & Associates for use of their high temperature film to provide capacitors with up to 200°C operating temperature. Advanced Conversion’s expertise in film capacitors paired with GORE® High-Temperature Film will provide the most demanding applications with the highest temperature-rated film capacitors on the market today. Advantages such as long life and capacitance stability at temperatures up to 200°C will allow customers to unlock more potential from their systems and significantly increase reliability.
Advanced Conversion will initially support the Oil & Gas industry’s existing and developing applications and will look to make this new capability available to Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial markets.
“Advanced Conversion is excited to be partnering with Gore to take their industry-leading film development to the next level of advanced capacitor applications,” said Ed Sawyer, Director of the ETI Capacitor Group. “Our capacitor innovations combined with Gore’s film dielectric technical excellence is a team that can solve the most difficult problems in the industry.”
“Gore is thrilled to be working with Advanced Conversion to unlock significant design options for engineers facing some of the toughest power electronics applications out there,” said Rob Haywood, Director of the Gore High-Temperature Capacitor Film business. “By partnering with market-leading companies like Advanced Conversion who are similarly focused on mission-critical applications, the value that the Gore High-Temperature film provides will be better positioned to serve the growing demands of global electrification.”
