Advanced Conversion has an extensive family of discrete Power Ring capacitors that cover a wide range of voltage and capacitance for DC link and pulse applications. The standard DC link offerings can be combined with our universal bus products to create “ready to go” DC link solutions that connect to a variety of industry standard switch modules.
We also provide direct integrated capacitor/bus DC link “test kits” for some specific modules. Advanced Conversion pulse capacitors offer extremely high peak current using metallized film for pulsed power applications, without sacrificing life.
Our core business is the development and production of custom capacitor solutions with integrated terminals and bus structures that enable very fast switching and the maximum possible power density. These solutions can be further augmented with high temperature films capable of operating up to and beyond 200C.
