AC Filter & Resonator - Overview

Advanced Conversion offers expertise in both AC capacitors and resonator applications. We have developed customer-specific solutions for AC filtering and power factor correction systems. High-frequency resonator capacitors are commonly used for wireless charging and induction heating systems. These capacitors can be very challenging given the need for relatively small capacitance values combined with high RMS currents. We have experience with both metalized and hybrid film/foil designs that can be utilized in series/parallel arrays. The annular form factor approach offers significant improvements in ESR and thermal resistance relative to conventional “can” style capacitors.
