The next step beyond standard power rings with universal busbars, the test kits integrate surface-mounted capacitors on optimized busbars, connected to switch modules for efficient inverter designs.
The Advanced Conversion annular form factor winding technology is well known for enabling optimal DC link sizing for industry-leading performance, with long life and low ESR in the range of 100 micro-Ohms.
However, the round shape can be a challenge to implement. Therefore we have designed a family of complete DC Link/Busbar integrated systems that demonstrate the optimal connection to the Infineon HybridPACK™ “Six Pack” style modules. They also match conveniently next in size and height. This makes the layout easy for tests or final inverter design. These kits provide an ESL of 8nH and support inverter power levels of up to 200kW peak.
We offer a complete portfolio of ways to implement an optimized DC Link solution with any of the Six Pack layout switch modules (Si or SiC). Voltages range from 500V to 900V (continuous) and they match up perfectly with all of the design configurations supplied by a number of major switch suppliers, including OnSemi (VE Trac™), ST Power, or Wolfspeed (certain models).
Please note our example below where the 700A243 allows for one Compact DC Link to support two Switch Module Six Packs enabling a Left – Right Drive system, with one DC Link cap.

The peak current is highly dependent on the cooling management of the AC and DC on the busbar. When optimized 100 A peak is possible wihtout damage.
The test kits are designed to be a perfect fit with the switch module. Only fasteners (not supplied) are required.
